Tai-chi was developed many centuries ago with graceful movements that focus on balancing the yin and the yang, doing as much for the mind and soul as for the body.
Tai chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. It is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.
Practicing Tai-chi is now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity and healing through gentle, flowing movements.
Tai-chi classes will be taught by our professional tai-chi master, available in both English and Chinese.
